David Lisowski is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Reco Cement Products, LLC. He has spent over 30 years in manufacturing environments, both as an entrepreneur and as an executive at companies operating internationally. He has bought and sold companies, successfully executed turnarounds and built companies from the ground up. Mr. Lisowski founded and ran Stratton Enterprises, Inc. and Stratton Development. Stratton Enterprises imported manufactured goods from China, India and Mexico. To better service its customers, the company partnered with Sigma Corp., an international manufacturer and distributor of fittings, restraints and castings. Mr. Lisowski represented over twenty companies in Asia and five warehouses in the United States. Stratton Development was a real estate developer that developed several subdivisions and lake properties in the “lake country” region of Wisconsin. Mr. Lisowski attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Dr. P. Kumar Mehta, considered one of the world’s premier experts on cementitious mixtures, joined Reco Cement as a consultant in 2013. Dr. Mehta, a Professor Emeritus in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley who holds eight patents and has published over 250 scientific articles while co-authoring four books. He assists Reco Cement in the development, testing documentation and promotion of our design mixes and additives. Dr. Mehta is a past Chairman of the Cements Division of the American Ceramic Society and RILEM’s Committee on Siliceous By-Products in Concrete, as well as a Fellow of both the American Concrete Institute and the American Ceramic Society. He also served for six years as the Editor-in-Chief of the ASTM journal, Cement, Concrete and Aggregate.
Dr. Pradeep Rohatgi, the author of over 400 papers and 40 patents and a Distinguished Professor of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee., is a world renowned expert on the use of composite materials. He joined Reco Cement as a technology consultant in 2014 and assists Reco Cement in the development, testing documentation and promotion of our design mixes and additives. While at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Dr. Rohatgi has developed new courses on solidification, composites and metal casting and is the Founder and Director of UWM’s Research Laboratory for Foundry, Solidification, and Tribology and the UWM Center for Composites.
Glenn Petersen is the Chief Financial Officer of Reco Cement. Working primarily with startup organizations, he has over 25 years of experience in finance, operations and strategic analysis. Mr. Petersen received his B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago, passed the CPA exam in 1983. Upon graduating he spent six years with the public accounting firm of Grant Thornton as an auditor and was a member of its technical review department. During his career, he has helped companies raise over $50 million in public and private securities offerings and executed a reverse merger.
